Holiday Party 2012 – Burlington

When one of our favorite clients asked us to pull out all the stops for their annual holiday party, we did just that! We created a festive environment spanning over 22,000 square feet which included three stages and a variety of lounges and chill spaces. Major props to our Lighting Designer Chad who managed the 156 intelligent fixtures distributed on 430 feet of truss!

Hopkins Center 50th Celebration at Dartmouth College

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Hopkins Center's construction, Dartmouth College commissioned a custom installation by projection artist Ross Ashton. Atomic got the call to provide 20k lumens of Christie projection, a network of Watchout media servers, the custom-built weatherized structure and the know-how to get the job done.

Mountain Jam 2012

Mountain Jam Festival has become one of our annual favorites and this year was no disappointment! This year's MJ marked the festival debut of our new Adamson E-15 boxes. We were thrilled with the system's performance and the response from both Band Engineer's and festival goers alike! The festival welcomed it's eighth year with a tremendous line up including: Steve Winwood, Gov’t Mule, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Roots, Ben Folds Five, The Word (ft. Robert Randolph, John Medeski and North Mississippi Allstars), Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Travelin’ McCoury’s (ft. Keller Williams), Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Gary Clark Jr., Dawes, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Givers, and many more!

Atomic Appoints Chad Voghell to Head Lighting Department

Atomic Pro Audio is happy to announce the recent appointment of Vermont-native Chad Voghell as Lighting Department Manager. Born and raised in Vermont, Chad earned his BA in Communications with a minor in Theatre from Castleton State College. Upon graduation he was appointed Castleton's Technical Director for Event Production and served in the post for 13 years. There he designed lighting for dance, music, and theatrical productions, as well as the college’s yearly traditional events. Recent highlights include: Jesus Christ Superstar, Once on This Island, KoSA Percussion Festival and MLK Spring Convocation 2012. During his time at Castleton, Chad provided full technical support for more than 1600 events ranging in magnitude, while working with and training an all-student crew. Chad is proud to be a Journeyman with IATSE Local 919. He lives in West Rutland with his wife of 12 years, Jennifer.
